When you register interest or contact us, we collect your name, email address, your role (school, or parent and carer), your school name, your postcode or region, and anything you choose to write to us.

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and stored only in a securely hashed form. We never see or store your password in plain text.

We do not collect personal information from children through this website. Children do not need accounts, and the learning cards are printed and used offline under adult supervision.

• To reply to your enquiry and set up your access (contract and legitimate interests).
• To provide and secure the schools and parents portal (contract).
• To send occasional service messages about your account or order (legitimate interests).
• To send our newsletter, only if you have opted in (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time.

We use a small number of trusted service providers who act only on our instructions:

• Supabase, for account authentication, database, and file storage.
• Vercel, for website hosting.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising networks, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking.

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in to the portal. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through.

Our service providers store and process data in the EU (AWS eu-west-1, Ireland), within the European Economic Area. Because this is inside the EEA, no additional international transfer safeguards are required.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it. Enquiry and marketing information is kept until you ask us to remove it or you unsubscribe. Account information is kept for the life of the account and deleted within 90 days of the account being closed.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@internetexplorers.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website and portal are for adults, namely school staff and parents and carers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this notice from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page.
